Certified Trauma Care Practitioner
I’m a certified coach with 23+ years of experience and an SEPTM with an affinity for supporting BIPOC (especially of Asian descent), marginalized folks, empaths, creatives and activists to live embodied, authentic and liberated lives. As a complex trauma survivor and recovering overachiever/perfectionist, I understand the pressure to assimilate to dominant culture and the toll it takes on our emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I spent a decade at Fortune 500 companies helping leaders and organizations manage change and I wrote two creative business books before transitioning my coaching to trauma care. My coaching style is gentle, intuitive and playful. I incorporate Somatic Experiencing®, internal parts work, expressive arts, mindfulness meditation and a social justice/anti-oppression/anti-carceral lens.
Specializations: Intergenerational Trauma, Racial Trauma, Cultural Trauma, Developmental Trauma, Attachment Trauma, Emotional Neglect, C-PTSD, Systemic Trauma with a social justice, anti-carceral and anti-oppression lens
Additional certifications: Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, TIST Certified (Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, parts work), Somatic Attachment Therapy Certification, Somatic Developmental Trauma Therapy Certification, Embodied Conflict Resolution Certification, Certificate in Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies Levels 1-3 with Linda Thai, New Pathways to Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy: A Clinical Training Program Certificate, Healing Transgenerational Trauma through the Integration of Somatic Experiencing ® and Family Systemic Constellations Therapy (FCST) Certificate, NARM-Informed Professional, Certified Expressive Arts Teacher, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Certified Yoga Teacher
